A Project is an optional activity in Italian schools, but Istituto "S. Freud" wants to promote the experience of "projects" to offer their students the chance to compare with new experienes. .
In the years of the secondary schools, the students perceive the emerging of difficulty, struggle and engagement; they identify the opposition between the process of learning and the process of studying.
They also recognize the necessity to be almost adult, to be introduced in more "important" environments; they perceive the needs as a form of knowledge and this latter as a form of experience.
By showing their projects, our teachers prevent the struggles, by creating new points of view whose main goal consists in widening the sensation to get to know the reality surrounding us.
Istituto Freud organizes projects activities concerning the following e macro-areas, i.e Culture, Volunteering, Legality, Health and Wellness, and Sport at School.
The School is conscious to be an education community able to create cosmopolitan citizens and stimulated by several interests.
Our School is responsible for this task and interacts together with rhe students, so that they can open up to the cultural world and be made aware of the values.
At the same time- by cooperating with many institutions engaged in several area- the School offers its contribution and its support to the same institutions. These latter often need partnerships to sponsor their projects.
Doing Projects is the chance to enrichen the motivation in our students.
The study of a specific topic- concerning the humanistic and the scientific curriculum- can be oriented to better to know its own experience; the creation of “projects” represents an important instrument to see social, economic, political problems from a new perspective and to bring closer some frameworks to the everyday life.
Therefore, a project is something that allows the students to grow up because he can face the reality they should have kept in touch as adults.
Showing a project to students corresponds to a new school approach:
Our projects want to pursue the following objectives:
