YOUTH INFORMATION AND COUNSELLING CENTRE ( ITALIAN C.I.C)

Information and Counselling Centres  (CIC), were set up in conformity to Presidential Decree no.309/ October 9, 1990  in all  Italian secondary schools and confirmed with further circulars by the  Ministry of Public Education

Their aim consists in providing all students the right information about Health and Legal provision, but also about  cooperative activities to practise in their free time. Morever, they offer consultancy in case of difficulties or evaluate the students' orientation wishes regarding socio-psychological problems. 

Therefore, in Our School it is to find an "help desk" open to all families and students in order to respond and better to comprehend their single needs and requirements. As a matter of fact, the learning process and its related human aspects about the personal development of our students play a relevant role in our School mission. This is the reason why our school staff is always trying to offer the best solutions to the typical teenage problems..
The contact person responsible for this project is Mrs Laura Meazza,- she takes appointment on Fridays ar 3 pm- and Ms Margherita Ubertalli- at your disposal everyday without any appointment.

Our help desk, moves in a clear and clean way to prevent any form of relational, personal and school disease by preserving the total anonimity and privacy.

Youth Information and Counselling Centres focus on the following aims:

• Encouragement of the students' well- being: our students must feel at their ease when they are at school and their sense of belonging to school and educational activities must be always enhanced
• Reduction  of any form of disease in order to prevent early school-leaving and deviant behaviours .
• Inclusion for students with disabilities in all school activities.
• Full involvement  of all  the school components, such as teachers, parents, personal tutors and the school staff.
• Interaction with the Projects promoted by  the  Educational Offer Plan  through  orientation activities within the school.
