RESILIENCE PROJECT, FREUD SCHOOL MILAN
MILAN, Mar. 19 - If resilience is the ability to cope positively with traumatic events, the 'Resilience Project' of the Sigmund Freud Institute in Milan - 650 high school students enrolled - is precisely to reorganize educational activities for students and bring them out of a crisis during the coronavirus emergency at a time when deaths and sickness are the scenario that especially young people have to face with psychological implications that are not always immediately apparent.
There is "deaf suffering."
And so-explains director Daniele Nappo-with "the goal of preserving the task of 'community,' keeping the class alive, the sense of belonging, fighting the risk of loneliness and demotivation"-50 teachers, secretaries, management staff, computer technicians with the help of psychologists drew up a 'survival module' that produced, among other things, 1850 video lessons, 190 tests, 95 hours of counseling.
