On March 10, 2023 Arena publishes the results of a survey regarding the 73rd edition of the Sanremo festival that the S. Freud School administered to a sample of 950 students. The topics polled are among the most varied: Chiara Ferragni's monologue, Blanco's gesture etc. And what emerged was that the young people did not see the different episodes directly but followed it via social media, that the influencer's speech seemed fake and that the destruction of the set design made by Blanco was prepared beforehand.
(ANSA) - MILAN, MAR 10 - Not very positive judgment on the Sanremo Song Festival by students: the majority did not see it directly, consider it inappropriate to have attacked the government, disingenuous the intervention of blogger Chiara Ferragni, prepared the destruction of flowers by Blanco and unfair the cancellation of the planned live video intervention of the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. This is what emerges, among other things, from a focus on the theme 'TV: Mythification and Reality' based on a survey, carried out by the Freud Institute in Milan, in which 950 students took part. "Our young people are not stupid, they are sensitive and much more inclusive than previous generations," stresses the director of the Freud, Daniele Nappo. "They quickly understand when a program is 'constructed': that's why they know how to choose and create opportunities for themselves in a society that is certainly more complex. In particular, 56.5 percent of respondents say they have not seen Sanremo, but 76.3 percent however have read about it in newspapers, heard about it on TV, on the Internet from other media or friends and acquaintances; 58.6 percent believe that attacks by artists on the current government were inappropriate and 56.7 percent that Fedez was wrong to incite the liberation of marijuana as well as 54.1 percent consider it embarrassing that he tore up the photograph of Deputy Minister of Justice Bignami (the kiss with singer Rosa Chemical is also considered totally inappropriate by 63.1 percent). In addition to this: 79.3 percent consider Chiara Ferragni's intervention "linked to commercial and promotional policies of her mode of communication" not at all sincere; for 68.5 percent, singer Blanco's gesture "had been prepared and agreed upon with the Festival management." Finally, 55.2 percent considered it unfair that the planned live video intervention of the president of Ukraine, Zelensky, was canceled, and consequently, for 63.9 percent, inappropriate that it was made late at night.
