IL GIORNO - DRESS CODE AT SCHOOL? IT DESCRIBES THE ANSWER TO THE INSTITUTION

Maintaining a sober and decent dress, appropriate to the school environment, should be a rule inherent in every student. Unfortunately, the casual dress-code has entered the habits of the new generations. Without false moralisms, young people must learn to follow the rules of coexistence and good taste of the context in which they find themselves.

Dress - Code at school? It describes the response to the Institution. 

"With the arrival of the summer season and the heat, which coincides with the end of classes and the beginning of State Exams, students forget about etiquette. and the way they dress at school. Generally, the clothing is appropriate for the place and the heat does not justify beach wear with tank tops, tops and flip-flops. There is a decorum to be respected, which concerns not the staff but a moral. It is the didactic coordinator who, in his capacity as an educator, must ensure that relevant clothing is applied, as an expression of a value that must be preserved. Young people must learn to conform to a respect that is considered on a par with other attentions, which must be maintained within the school. The school has the task of teaching and enforcing discipline as the mission of an institution where one must not derogate, nor accept oddities or eccentricities.

Clothing is the language through which we pay homage to both the place and the environment it represents. The dress code certainly cannot be the beach dress code because the institution deserves respect and it is absurd that in some schools it is necessary to put it in writing. We are in an educational environment that deserves adequate consideration and as such those who attend it must adapt with sobriety; Certainly, incompatible clothing must be reprimanded and sanctioned. Of course, parents are often ready to make real battles and protests, not to say controversy. 
Reason. Who in an office could show up in flip-flops, a shirt and a tank top? This is not a return to the past, when in photographs everyone was dressed the same to eliminate social class differences. It is a question of behaviour, even if there is no reference legislation and we must not go so far as to have one, even if the invitations of the Minister of Education every year are aimed at the adoption of a code of conduct.

Certainly, the rules must be shared and not imposed on the children, so surely the best strategy is adopted to ensure trust and mutual respect, which is an important thing on which to build the rules of coexistence together. Clothing should not label a student, but should make them understand that it expresses a right or wrong attitude.
