On Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, all students in the First and Second Classes of the Computer Science, Tourism and Human Sciences High School addresses of S. Freud Private School will participate in an educational trip at The Aquarium of Genoa, starting at 8 a.m. until approximately 6 p.m.
CONTENTS
The Genoa Aquarium is a living museum that houses about 6,000 specimens of 600 different marine species (fish, marine animals, crustaceans, reptiles, plants).
It has sixty-one tanks occupying nearly 10,000 square meters of space. With the opening of the large dolphin tank, the facility allows for an exciting experience in direct contact with dolphins.
This short trip will give kids a chance to discover what the Genoa Aquarium, the largest in Italy, has to offer. After the natural spectacle offered by the most diverse animal species, they will be able to admire the majesty of the Ducal Palace and De Ferrari Square. Genoa with its typical alleys stretches across a narrow strip of land separating mountains and sea.The historic center of the Ligurian capital, with its typical narrow and steep caruggi, laden with centuries of history, will give the opportunity to discover a quaint world just a short distance from Milan.
TRANSPORTATION: coach departing from the Freud Institute, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 8 a.m.
ORGANIZATIONAL ARRANGEMENTS:
Departure from Milan at 8:00 am and transportation by Flixbus.
Arrival in Genoa expected at 10:00 am in Piazza Caricamento area (Porto Antico) in front of the aquarium.
Guided tour of about 1.30 hours inside the aquarium starting at 11:00 am.
Packed lunch or on site.
Mini sightseeing tour in Centro area (Piazza De Ferrari, Via XX Settembre and Ligurian caruggi).
Return from Genoa with departure at 4:00 p.m.
