On November 9, 2022, a number of students from the ICT, Economic Tourism Technician and Human Sciences High School addresses at S. Freud School were selected to go to see the Inter-Bologna match at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan.
CONTENTS
The Giuseppe Meazza Stadium is a multi-purpose sports facility, although almost exclusively devoted to soccer, in Milan. It hosts the home matches of Inter Milan and AC Milan. With Turin's Allianz Stadium and Olimpico Grande Torino and Rome's Olimpico, it is part of the group of four Italian stadiums to fall under UEFA Category 4, the one with the highest technical level.
Municipally owned since 1935, it is also known as San Siro because of the district of the same name in which it stands, and that was its official name until March 2, 1980, when it was named in memory of Giuseppe Meazza, the glory of Milanese sports as well as one of the best Italian footballers of the interwar period.
Nicknamed the Scala of soccer or the temple of soccer, it is one of the most internationally known stadiums, as well as the largest in Italy, being able to seat 75,923 spectators. the Meazza is one of the city's most identifying symbols after the Duomo and the Triennale.
OBJECTIVES AND GOALS
- Increase the sense of belonging to the class group;
- Enhance the values of tolerance, loyalty, mutual respect by summarizing them in the concept of fair play and sports ethics;
- foster the culture of "COMMITMENT" a fundamental element of sports, from a formative point of view;
- fostering a critical and observational sense;
- arouse curiosity and interest;
- enhance the capacity for relational autonomy outside the school environment.
