17 novembre 2016
On Friday, November 18, 2016, classes 1^ A, 2^ A and 2^ B ICT address and 1^ A and 2^ A Tourism will participate in the lecture "Sulleregole - What is Justice" given by Gherardo Colombo, a former Magistrate, live on satellite, at the Uci Cinema in Via Santa Radegonda Milan from 10.00 am to 12.15 pm.
The initiative is part of the Education for Legality project.
"What is Justice?" is the title of the fourth edition of the annual event promoted by Sulleregole, the association founded by Gherardo Colombo in 2010 with the aim of stimulating, particularly among the younger generations, reflection on the sense of justice and respect for legality proposed by the Constitution.
The next scheduled event on November 18, 2016, proposes an in-depth exploration of the theme: Is Justice respect for the rules or something more and perhaps different? Is justice an ambiguous term? Is there justice? What to do for there to be? Is imposing suffering justice? Justice with a lower case what is it? What does it serve? What should justice look like to serve?
"After leaving the judiciary, I met with over four hundred thousand students from all parts of Italy to talk with them about legality and everyone's relationship with the rules," Gherardo Colombo explains. So with the Sulleregole Association we thought of promoting large national events to meet, in a single day, the highest number of students. In the first 3 editions, more than 60,000 students from all regions of Italy attended the event and interacted with us, some live and some live from cinemas, sending us thousands of questions via social networks."
The annual Sulleregole events are peer-to-peer exchanges of ideas based on direct dialogue between Gherardo Colombo and students. During the meetings there is no shortage of entertainment moments entrusted to well-known personalities among the students (Claudio Bisio in 2013 and 2014 and Elio in 2015) in the role of provocateurs and interpreters of the students' point of view following the event.
The large participation, the amount of positive comments expressed by the children and the discussion with the participating teachers confirm how the annual event Sulleregole has now established itself as a staple, an opportunity integrated into the educational programming of hundreds of institutions.
An opportunity to deepen, confront, get excited and grow as citizens more aware of their rights and responsibilities."
