22 giugno 2017
On June 22, 2017, classes V A Tourism and V A Computer Science of the S. Freud Junior High School took the Second Test of the Final State Examination.
For the students of the Technical Information Technology address, the test covered the subject of ICT, while the students of the Technical Economic Tourism address were examined in the subject of TOURIST AND BUSINESS DISCIPLINE
COMPUTER SCIENCE TEST
This year's Computer Science test addressed a very topical problem, that of designing a web application for managing carpooling. The first part of the track required the design of a database that would allow a driver, once registered on the platform, to plan a trip to a location, set the price per passenger and the number of seats available. The user could log into the portal consult it to see if they were scheduled for a given destination and if interested could request to be considered for a particular route. Both driver and passenger could view feedback left by other users (both passengers and drivers) and then issue their own. The second part, was much more general, requiring knowledge of the entire program carried out during the year and in all address disciplines.
TOURISM AND BUSINESS DISCIPLINES TEST
The second test of Tourism and Business Disciplines saw the graduating students engaged in tackling a business case concerning the development and establishment of a small-scale travel agency that operates as a tour organizer. As is now the practice in ministerial tests, the students were allowed freedom in choosing the data they could use in solving the test. Specifically, in the first part of the paper, students were asked to draw up a business plan, an important tool aimed at verifying the validity of the agency's business idea, as well as the promotion of an event aimed at launching an incoming product, in collaboration with the Territorial Tourism Organization.
The second part of the track, on the other hand, involved the development of several questions, chosen by the candidate, on various topics addressed during the school year. Specifically, pupils were asked to come up with a concise budget application, to design and organize a study trip, and to know how to enhance the image of their agency through an important tool such as web marketing today.
And Monday.... THIRD TEST!!!
