CONTENTS

Within the educational context, the activity of sports practices plays a fundamental role in the formation of adolescents, as it transmits values of great importance, such as loyalty, respect and friendship. In the same way as an authentic educational agency, all kinds of sports become an opportunity for play and fun, but also for personal growth, teaching adolescents that in life you win and you lose, but what matters is to appreciate every moment, from which you can always learn something. For this reason, sports represent an extraordinary educational resource, capable of reproducing on a play and entertainment dimension the reality of life, which is made up of commitment, sacrifice, suffering, struggle, but also satisfaction, joy, happiness and hope. By promoting balanced growth, emphasizing the right to make mistakes without having to give up the realization of one's goals, any form of sports activity becomes, thus, synonymous with commitment and perseverance. Sigmund Freud School aware of the importance of this value - in the aftermath of an emergency health situation that has forced our students to almost two years of lockdown, where the sense of sociability and togetherness has been lost, as the summer season approaches - has organized two days of lightheartedness and good humor, within the context of sports practice, where Our students will have the opportunity to take part in one or all of the proposed sports activities, of which we will briefly outline the main characteristics and rules of play.

FOOTBALL SEVEN: Seven-a-side soccer is a variation of the game of soccer, played at the amateur level. Teams consist of 10 players, of whom 7 are starters.

TENNIS: Tennis, whose original name lawn tennis, is the sport in which two opposing players (singles) or pairs of players (doubles) use outstretched rackets to hit a ball of specific size, weight and bounce over a net on a rectangular court. Points are awarded to a player or team each time the opponent does not properly return the ball within the prescribed dimensions of the court. Tennis is played according to rules established by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the world governing body of the sport. Although tennis can be played by players of any skill level, high-level competitions are a challenging test of skill and endurance, rich in stylistic and strategic variety.

BEACH VOLLEY: Beach volleyball is a team sport that originated as a variation of indoor volleyball. It is a sport consisting of four people each playing against each other on a sand court divided by a net. The height and characteristics of the net are the same as volleyball.
