CONTENTS
The educational outing is related to the fifth edition of the Job Digital Lab project, by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Banca ING, which will be held on January 22, 2025 at ING Italia's headquarters, 250 Viale Fulvio Testi. The event, "Hunt for Fraud. Cyber detective for a day," will be dedicated to cybersecurity and will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event aims to raise awareness among high school students about protecting the privacy and security of their data, which are now much more often hacked online than in real life. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale ETS, which is organizing the event together with ING Bank, is a knowledge-oriented nonprofit organization. Established in 2001, it has been engaged in spreading the culture of innovation for a new knowledge economy as an engine for the country's development for more than 20 years. It preferentially uses digital technologies as a knowledge accelerator to fuel educational growth, with the belief that an innovative ecosystem is a value for all, starting with students. During the morning of Jan. 22, students will be given an “investigative challenge,” aimed at exploring cybersecurity issues and reflecting on the importance of sharing data online.
Participants will play the role of a cyber investigation team to expose a financial fraud against citizens. The activity will be structured to be accessible to all students. The participating class will be divided into teams, each consisting of 5/6 students, with at least one PC per team.
