On Thursday the 9th of May 2017, the classrooms 3^ A Tourism and 4^ A Tourism of the State Recognized School S. Freud will take part in the introducing meeting related to the School Work Alternation Project “Welcome Students" with Euroristoro – Mc Donald’s Italia.
The meeting will be held at the school's premises.
Euroristoro s.r.l. is a company that operates in the restaurants business, they run 18 McDonald’s restaurat located in Milan and its surrounding area.
McDonald's Corporation is the biggest fast food chain of restaurants in the world, it is an American company and its headquarters are in Oak Brook, a district of Chicago, in the state of Illinois. They directly run their branches through their franchising network. McDonald's restaurants are spread all over the world and they full-time employ around 438.000 people. They develop a strathegy of products standardization as well as focusing their attention on the customers; the customer satisfaction has always been their main target. That means meeting the customers' needd by offering good quality products every day of the year in every restaurant and by assuring their safety too. This policy enables to make values on behalf of their curtomers and offer highly competitive products.
Aim:
The presentation aims at showing the students the School Work Alternation Projects at Euroristoro s.r.l. and McDonalds’s. In October 2016 McDonald’s introduced their school work alternation project “Welocme Students”, which wil offer 10.000 opportunities in more than 500 restaurants all over Italy. This project is meant to develop the Italian students' soft skills that is the the relational and communicative skills that mainly feature the working environment. McDonald’s was chosen by the Ministry of Education, the University and the Research among the "Chamnpions of the Alternation", 16 organizations (companies, professional orders and the third sector) that will put around 27.000 school work alternation experiences at the students' disposal, - 10.000 will be offered by McDonald’s - on the school year 2016/17. These experiences share three main factors: the number of participating students, the quality experinces that are matched with practical momentss, training activites and innovative ideas.
Objective:
- Making the students ready to go through the experience of training;
- Going deep into the workig experience;
- Teaching the students the main aspects of the service addressed to the customers (quality products and service);
- Teaching the students the importance of the communication techniques in order to build the customers' satisfaction.
