On the dates January 14 and 15, 2020, all classes of the Computer Technology Technical, Economic Tourism Technical and Human Sciences High School Social Economic option addresses of the S. Freud School will participate in the educational outing "A Day in the Snow" at the Vigezzo Plain" (Verbania).
The organized event will be a wonderful opportunity to carry out a day of sports, in nature, all together!
The Vigezzo Valley is a "U-shaped" valley and differs from other Ossola valleys because of its particular orography, unique in Piedmont. In fact, it is not a valley traversed by the course of a stream from its head to its outlet, with the settlements placed at different heights, but rather by two streams that flow in opposite directions, generating a wide, flat valley in which the main municipalities rise.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The summit day will consist of several moments:
The children will be divided according to level into groups of 7-10 people.
The program will include:
- 2 hours of ski lessons: the School we will rely on offers ski and snowboard courses for beginners, first turns and improvement.
- Lunch at the top of the Refuge, located a few meters from the lifts; the Refuge "La Tana" is the ideal place to taste the authentic flavors of the Lombardy-Piedmont mountains.
- 2-hour bobsled rides
- Snow activities
