On Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, all students in Classes V of the Technical Economic Tourism and Technical Information Technology address of the S. Freud Paritarian School will participate in the outbound orientation event promoted by Assolombarda entitled "THE TECHNICAL HIGHER INSTITUTES - A new way of learning and training for work after graduation."
The conference will be held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at the "Gio Ponti" Auditoriun in Via Pantano 9, Milan.
The meeting aims to present to fifth-year high school students the post-diploma training opportunities offered by the Istituti Tecnici Superiori (ITS), which are particularly interesting for their innovative content, strong connection with the world of work and the practical slant of teaching. In the first part of the meeting, in a plenary session, guidance counselors and professionals will illustrate the distinctive features of ITS pathways and the type of student for whom these courses are most suitable, also making use of the testimonies of teachers and students of the courses themselves. In the second part, young people will be able to "touch with their own hands" the contents of the individual ITSs through the exhibition stands of the courses activated in Lombardy and apply for entry selections by leaving their CVs.
Didactic objectives of the outing are to orient students to industry occupations, inform them about the range of job and professional outlets post graduation, and develop interests and autonomous decision-making.
