On the dates of March 7 and 8, 2024, the third and fourth classes of the Technical Economic Tourism address will take part in a training meeting with the contact person Dr. Carlo Ugolini of the company "Eventi e Animazione."
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Entertaining is a profession in its own right, and entertainment professionals possess a range of skills, activities and techniques, which are among their "working tools." The objective of this experience is to develop the basic knowledge related to the entertainment professional in the tourism industry. Since the tourism industry is constantly growing, the demand for personnel is constant and the choice of young entertainers is renewed punctually every year. The direct experience focuses on the development of soft skills, transversal skills of primary importance, necessary to perform the role of the tourist entertainer and more generally any job in which cooperation and interdependence are activated, as strengths within the team for the realization of expected performance. The focus of the following course fosters a gradual approach to the world of work with the acquisition and consolidation of knowledge, methodologies and tools specific to the profession of the tourist animator.
THE COMPANY.
Eventi e Animazione is a company in the entertainment industry active since 1991. The company offers students the opportunity to participate as tourist entertainers at their numerous accommodation centers, located throughout Italy. Given the countless opportunities for recruitment by human resources that arise from year to year, this special internship and first work experience initiative is proposed to Italian high school students attending the Technical Economic Tourism address.
PURPOSE.
The objectives to be pursued include achieving the following goals:
- Creativity
- Lateral Thinking
- Emotional Intelligence
- Problem solving
- Proactivity.
In conclusion, the ultimate goal for students is to approach their first direct work experience in a hospitality facility, where they can learn how to work in an international team, with the aim of improving their skills in human relations and obviously putting into practice all the knowledge they learned in school.
