On April the 6th all the students of the 1^ C, 2^ A, 5^ A belonging to the Technical IT cycle of studies and the 5^A classrooms belonging to the Technical, Tourism, Economics field of studies will take part in the conference “Heroic deeds and dramatic defeats. Misery and nobility. Loyalty and deception: sport as a metaphore of life and destiny”.
The meeting will be held by the journalist Nando Sanvito, it will take place in the Auditorium from 2.00 p.m.
CONTENTS
Nando Sanvito, graduated with honours in Letters started his career as a journalist by chance when he was involved in a military takeover in Madrid in 1981 so he started to send his reportages to the Italian papers that didn't have any correspondents in the Spanish capital city at that time.
After his experience as a journalsit for the newspapers like ‘Il Giornale’ by Indro Montanelli and the weekly paper “Il Sabato”, he started working for the Fininvest Group and he collaborated with Telecapodistria and he finally he worked for the Mediaset TV channels, he mainly dealt with sports programs like “SportMediaset” and the sports events broadcasted by the channel Premium calcio. He took part in the European and World Soccer Championship as a correspondent journalist and he also collaborated with other papers, the radio and some on-line papers in Italy and abroad.
He has been working for the schools, the universities, the sports centres, the oratories, the cultural centres in the last years. He takes part in these initiatives by telling his stories with the support of the multi-media devices in order to show how the experience can become an example of life.
The events aim at sharing the educational concern through sport mainly focusing on the individuals and their needs.
Through his “video-stories” the journalist introduces the “heroic deeds and dramatic defeats, misery and nobility, loyalty and deception: sport as a metaphore of life and destiny”.
