CONTENTS
Coca-Cola HBC Italia, in collaboration with JA Italia, has organized the #YouthEmpowered workshop, which will allow students in the last three years of high school to deepen some "Life Skills" and "Business Skills" useful for the study and professional path.
The former refers to a range of basic cognitive, emotional and interpersonal skills that enable people to function competently on both an individual and social level. In other words, they are skills and abilities that enable us to acquire versatile and positive behavior, thanks to which we can deal effectively with the demands and challenges of daily life.
These skills can be grouped according to three categories:
EMOTIVE - self-awareness, emotion management, stress management
COGNITIVE - problem solving, decision making, critical sense, creativity
SOCIAL - empathy, effective communication, effective relationships.
Life Skills make a person capable of transforming knowledge, attitudes and values into actual skills, that is, knowing what to do and how to do it.
Business Skills are nothing but business skills, among them:
Sound Financial Management - assessing risks
Project planning and execution
Communication and relationship building skills
Demonstrating leadership
Curiosity and learning
Day-to-day business operations
Effective recruitment
The event will be held by some of Coca- Cola's managers who, starting from personal work experience, will provide students with information to approach the world of work.
