The State Recognized School S. Freud has organized for its I A and I B IT classrooms an astronomy lecture with the skilled astronomer Prof. Carlo Colombo.
The lectures will be held at the school's premises on Tuesday the 2nd of February for the classroom I A and on Wednesday the 3rd of February for the classroom I B from 12.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m.
The main analyzed topics will be:
- The solar system
- The moon and its movements
- Images from space
- The deep space
- How to observe space
The meeting's aims
- Stimulating the students' interest and curiosity
- Promoting the students' active role during the lecture by experiencing the value of the "discovery"
- A lecture given by an expert can be a good opportunity for the students to approach specific topics that are included in their Curriculum.
