On November 19, 2021, the newspaper “Il Giorno” shares the reflections of Dr. Daniele Nappo, legal representative of the S. Freud Private School in Milan.
The school has changed its needs over the years, today the teacher must be a professional in possession of essential skills such as mediation to sociability, help in the development of processes, but, above all, must encourage a vision of learning that is dynamic and not notions. If the pupil, with the help of the teacher, sees effective progress, he establishes a circle of positivity, which is reflected not only on school progress, but in daily life. It becomes essential to reconcile the emotional and affective spheres, factors that influence the pupil in a decisive way.
Below the words of Dr. Daniele Nappo:
"The goal of today's school is to encourage and achieve educational success for all students; the modern school requires the teacher to be a professional, covering multiple roles, from mediation to socialization to the development of processes. The modern school promotes the formation of different values and the purposes are no longer those of storing data, perhaps by heart, but acquiring attitudes and behaviors, that is, a dynamic vision that is not notional but operational. In this way, the school, in its autonomy, can organize and encourage new and distinctive ways of education and study. Motivation and the reduction of anxiety in front of a school task take place largely through positive experiences; if a young person does not see effective progress in learning, he cannot be well. Motivation today describes a decisive aspect, as a factor of success in the short and long term. Scientific expertise on the subject has significantly expanded in the contemporary era. All the factors that contribute to the evolution of the subject can have a motivating or demotivating function. The school that creates an environment of trust, relationship and listening undoubtedly favors the girl or the boy in his insertion and in his participation in the study. It is an emotional and affective area: it is these factors that can influence school life and not a little. Autonomous reform interventions have a positive impact on school education. There are no longer fixed school models, there are activity plans, which take into account that the student must be placed at the center of a project as a real protagonist. The future of students cannot be negatively influenced by making them experience fears of judgment. "
