Dr. Daniele Nappo, Legal Representative and founder of the S. Freud Private School, in today's article focuses attention on the role of the teacher who, in order to be considered skillful and prepared, must carefully and attentively carry out his or her professional practice and be willing to analyze his or her teaching actions.
A skilled and prepared teacher is one who performs professional practice with care and attention, one who is willing to analyze his or her teaching actions, to present an account of his or her communicative choices, and to study, fabricate, and experiment with relational modes that are broad and capable of responding to ever-changing situations. The general purpose of this work expands in the desire to use thematic laboratory paths oriented to the expression, exercise and promotion of emotional, communicative and relational skills. The teaching laboratory, of the teacher, must strengthen and promote processes of self-determination of one's emotional and communicative being in a personal and professional direction. The teacher must think judiciously about the subjective and expressive dimensions of teaching, interpersonal developments, and the valence of emotions and communicative modes. The quality of processes and especially learning outcomes are significantly correlated with the multiple aspects of the teacher's value, and we must insist on building a professional profile. In the confidence that knowledge alone or technical rationality are not sufficient for the purpose, if they are not fortified by activities aimed at planning and reflexivity of professional action. Being effective teachers today means urging the learner to half-knowledge, teaching to learn. It is necessary to make it possible to promote paths of valuing students' emotions and experiences in educational-didactic action. Responses must be diversified according to increasingly individualized questions. The thesis is the support of the criterion of indissociability between affective and cognitive life in the person. Thus we could say that it is the relationship that generates education and not the other way around.
