Today we have an opportunity not to lose those positive sides that we had found in online educational activities with the Metaverse, a network of 3D worlds focused on social connection and it will be possible to use it to deliver Metatraining thanks to the establishment of Metaversities, an immersive environment that combines virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. A physical campus where students and faculty can interact with each other through their Digital Twin, a digital representation of themselves in the Metaverse. It is possible to reconstruct spaces where students and teachers find themselves in a common environment similar to the real one, but where innovative forms of teaching and research can be experimented. Therefore, immersiveness of the educational experience: you can organize and learn new methodologies, virtual visits and training at archaeological excavations, simulate having access to very rare volumes, attend events in courts on the other side of the world, carry out chemical experiments or visit nature reserves and much more. The Metaverse has more interactivity than Dad, Distance Learning. We are in the same place, together, and we can move in large spaces. The Metaverse could be an explosive element in the development of the internationalization of universities.
