Dr. Daniele Nappo - Legal Representative and founder of the S. Freud Private School - talks about the new high school introduced by the Ministry of Education and Merit: Made in Italy, created to bring the world of education closer to the world of entrepreneurship.
With the arrival of 2024, the Made in Italy high school kicks off. The Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, expressed satisfaction with this new course of study and underlined how it is part of the perspective of bringing the world of education closer to the world of national entrepreneurship and therefore of work, decreasing the distance between the skills necessary for the production sectors and those provided by the school. It is intended as a sort of bulwark for the sustainable growth and revaluation of Italian talent on an international scale: we are faced with yet another and unlikely slogan to make propaganda. Initially, it was even designed to replace the high school of Human Sciences with a focus on social economics. An incomprehensible hypothesis because it is to the detriment of a proven, effective path attended by more than 75 thousand students every year. On the other hand, it would be desirable to have a network of economic and social high schools and a coexistence between the two paths. Another problem is that registrations will be made when the open days have already been made and so it is almost impossible for schools to illustrate the characteristics to families and interested students. More than a high school of Made in Italy it seems The high school of the "Homemade", this should be the mission, but on closer inspection they will do the same things as a technical institute only that high school students will know to do them - in summary - to bring high the flag of the homeland in the world. Not only that: probably especially in the north the Made in Italy Districts will be able to help training, among other things with the risk of exploiting students by turning them into interns, while young people from the South will only have to stay in technical institutes unless they plan a pilgrimage. The birth of a new course of study is, in principle, always good news. However, due to the type of teaching proposed, the new address should have been called a technical institute rather than a high school
