On 25th June 2021, the National Newspaper “Il Giorno” publishes the new interview to the Legal Representative of Freud of Freud School with the following school-addresses: ICT, Tourism and Management and Human Science High School.
In his weekly- column, Dott. Daniele Nappo, focuses his attention on the importance of the role played by teachers within the current society: their role has regained value, as an educational model taken but also as inspiration for the future. They represent points of reference.
The new teacher. A reference guide.
Nowadays, the school institution is discovering again the role played by teachers, a very important professional figure - second only to parents - concerning the education of young people.
Nowadays, teachers express a precise educational path. They have very good relation capabilities and interact with students as far as concern their needs. Moreover, they have a strong team spirit.
They are competent people, happy to do their job. Teachers know very well that they are an example for their teachers.
The relation teacher/ student has improved in the last ten years and their role has regained value, as an educational model taken but also as inspiration for the future. Therefore, it's a sort of " bridge" between the present and the future. They are educators and don't transmit only knowledge: the current society reconsiders the figure of teachers because of their professional role, i.e a guide and not more the " guardian" of inappropriate attitudes. For this reason, teachers regain their credit of professionals in the field of education in the important action of the formation of the civil society now and in the future. The real task of teachers has got a practical meaning with precise skills and the value of respect.
However, families can't devolve e assign everything to the school institution; schools are not able to replace the role played by families and can't exchange the tass concerning the most important educational communities. Schools are places of education. They contribute to complete the educational and cognitive process of the students. Parents don't have to "park" their children, by leaving every form of education responsibility to the school insitution.
After the pandemic, schools need to reorganize because of the several changes concerning the process of globalization (...) Schools represent the driving force of a country for the services provided, for the discovery of the sense of education with a cultural characteristic, introduction to the world values and not only as a functional transmission of knowledge, skills and competences. The new teachers live together with the young people. Teachers are responsible for their education and for their training guidance. Teachers " observe" the world and support students to comprehend its criteria by using their critical thinking, their genius and their talent. It's a conscious instrument to let them grow in their awareness. They are enthusiast, passionate actors able to play their role by raising interest; they are very sensitive and empathic towards their students, because they want students become the real actors of their personal growth.
