The Public State School S. Freud has been the focus of a special column “University and Education” of the newspaper “Il giorno”.
On 29th July 2021, the School Institution, directed by the Legal Representative Dott. Daniele Nappo, has been enhanced as a School of Excellence in the Italian region of Lombardy, because of the persuasive teaching approach adopted by all the teachers.
At Freud School, students are understood, motivated in their talents and rewarded for their engagement.

The School Director, Daniele Nappo, introduces with these words Freud School, headquartered in via Accademia in Milan. A charter school offering different school curricula: High School of Human Sciences - Socioeconomics Option; ICT School and Technical Institute for Tourism and Management.
The challenge issued by the outbreak of pandemic in the educational context has had a strong impact with the adoption of Intefrated Digital Teaching , "in a synergic balance between synchronous and asynchronous activities", but also in online lesson and internships.
"In these years we have improved our experience – explains Nappo – through a daily dialogue with all those who counted on us for the achievement of specific goals, consisting in a five-year study course. ".
Apart from curricular lessons, we put at disposal remedial and support courses but also activities of skills enhancement in the afternoon or on Saturday morning. Students are required to attend these courses, if requested by teachers. Moreover, our school offers the opportunity of attending optional educational activities, such as laboratories and in-depth projects in the afternoon or on saturday morning.
"Our primary aim consists in realizing an alternative school – underlines the School Director – that enables each student to have a personalized educational training, not only by teachers but also by the psycho-pedagogical staff. To be an alternative school consists in providing a personalized teaching and learning approach ". Courses centred on key - values: compliance with rules, participation and active involvement, dialogue, constructive attitude towards errors.
By taking into consideration the Technical Training in the articulation of Telecommunications, it is to be explained that it develops the following aspects: analysis, comparison, planning and management of devices, electronic instruments and systems of telecommunications, the development of computing applications for local networks and remote services. The economic and touristic area focuses on an educational offers consisting in the study of macrophenomena in the field of national and international business management processes, civil and administrative legislation, the business system in general but also in its structure, marketing services and touristic services and products, foreign languages. High School concentrates on Human Sciences: anthropology, reasearch methodology, psychology, social studies, arts history, history and philosophy, foreign languages. Always paying attention to the several job opportunities.
