Dr. Daniele Nappo, Legal Representative and Founder of S. Freud Freud School, highlights ChatGPT, a tool used to write resumes and cover letters by job seekers.
In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, Ann-Marie Alcantara, a journalist who covers tech topics, talked about how more and more job seekers have been using ChatGPT, the generative artificial intelligence system, to refine and enrich their resumes and write cover letters that are flawlessly aligned with recruiters' requirements. We know, to be sure, that technology is revolutionizing the way companies search for and hire people, and after the rise of LinkedIn, there is now a new emerging force in HR: precisely ChatGPT. One of the most promising applications of AI, artificial intelligence, is the Chatbot, an automated communication software that uses advanced algorithms to understand and answer users' questions. ChatGPT is an excellent example of an AI chatbot and connects the latest trends in machine learning and natural language understanding to provide a smooth and engaging conversational experience. But it is not just a revamp for companies, candidates are also gaining benefits from the technology in the hiring stages. With the use of ChatGPT now, they can create resumes and cover letters configured on ads regarding companies' god employment search by identifying how to attract employers' attention more efficiently. Some surveys have highlighted and found that roughly half of job seekers use ChatGPT to write their introduction; thus, job seekers see artificial intelligence as a key step in getting through the various steps of the selection process, which are often increasingly rambling and, at times, full of unfairness. The timing of a hiring development as a whole has become longer and longer, and more and more companies are employing software to discard profiles that are less in line; we could call it a bot, i.e., robot, versus bot, struggle. It must be acknowledged that artificial intelligence is useful for acquiring a general structure of a text and also for originating ideas, but it is still always important to have one's own personalization. In a society, such as the one in which we live, in which generative AI software can generate, in a very short time, a resume or a cover letter personal branding engages an even more important value especially when we talk about the human capital of companies: basically the reason for being heard, the characteristic of ideas and their narration and the network that allows the ideas to spread.
An efficient method of personal branding, that is, strategies that are adopted to promote one's professional profile, allows one to stand out and be successful through authentically human and valid content as opposed to the sea of artificially generated content. It is easier to differentiate oneself through one's story than through artificial intelligence. However, this does not detract from the fact that it is revolutionizing the concept of interaction between a human being and a machine that can be a valuable aid in writing, suggesting new formulas and attracting candidates, pre-setting emails and positive or negative candidate feedback (feedback). ChatGPT and, more generally, generative artificial intelligence will be the next big revolution in the human resources sector and in the dissemination of content related to the job market.
