Lawyer exam rigged: 37-year-old woman from Treviso caught on walkie talkie

ZERO BRANCH - The state bar exam is one of the most difficult exams ever, for which future lawyers do not close their eyes for several months in which they try to prepare themselves as best they can for a new professional career.
This is precisely why the written tests are always well controlled, to prevent anyone from thinking of 'cheating' and passing the test for reasons far from merit. A bit like what happened on Tuesday inside the Padua Fairgrounds where the first Civil Law test was being held. In fact, as “the Tribune” reports, at one of the stations was 37-year-old S.Z. from Zero Branco (known for being a candidate in the 2004 municipal elections with “Veneto si‘’).
An examinee on the surface like many others, except that during the test the woman was constantly in contact with her mother who was in an adjacent room. In fact, assuming that exam rooms are always shielded and controlled to avoid contact with the outside world, the woman had well thought of communicating with her mother via walkie talkie, without, however, thinking that the radio waves generated by the device could also be picked up. So it was that those who were in the director's chair in the hall at one point sensed women's voices communicating over the airwaves, immediately notifying the examination commissioners and the financial police officers in the hall.
It was difficult, however, to guess in a short time which one was the culprit given the simultaneous presence of more than 1,200 examinees, and so here was the hunch: to go outside and check the attitude of relatives and friends of possible future lawyers. And it was thanks to this idea that a 62-year-old lady, G.S., was noticed, who was intent on communicating with someone via two-way radio, heedless of the rules imposed for the bar exam. Upon providing generalities and the reason for the walkie talkie's presence in her hands, however, the woman began to have a closed attitude with law enforcement, even refusing a search despite the fact that it was clear that a tablet and a small pc were in her bag
Only after lengthy attempts to conciliate with the lady were they able to obtain her cell phone from whose e-mails they traced the name of the examinee who was probably cheating on the test. At that point one of the commissioners went to the 37-year-old woman's station and found a walkie talkie hidden in a plaid, a pc with a mouse, four small tape recorders and even a commentary turned into a civil code (absolutely forbidden during the test). Immediately the material was then seized and the test was invalidated by the young woman who, among other things, even verbally assaulted the commissioners who were only performing the work for which they were present. The 37-year-old was eventually charged, as was the mother who came out in tears, while an investigation was also opened into the case
