23 aprile 2018
Earlier today, Monday, April 23, 2018, 80 students from the Computer Technology and Tourism Economics Technical-Technical address of the S. Freud Private High School left, with a direct AMERICAN AIRLINES scheduled flight, for their language internship - study trip a.s. 2017-2018.
The destination chosen for this year is FLORIDA!
Students will stay from today until May 2 in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, a city overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, 40 km from MIAMI and known as the "Venice of America" for its 150 km of navigable canals.
Located on a flat strip of land at the mouth of the New River, between the Florida Straits to the east and the Everglades to the west, Ft. Lauderdale is situated in the transition zone between the typical humid temperate climate of the former Confederate States of America and the tropical climate typical of Florida. Due to its favorable location on the Atlantic Ocean, it enjoys somewhat favorable weather conditions year-round: average January temperatures never fall below 15°, while July highs do not go above 35°. Weather conditions are clear for about 300 days a year.
Both the very select families who will host our students and the prestigious The Language Academy (TLA) School, where the class program will be conducted, are located in Fort Lauderdale.
Numerous excursions are also planned during the stay, including:
MIAMI TOUR
EVERGLADES
JUNGLE RIVER QUEEN
BASEBALL GAME - MARLINS
VISIT TO THE MALL
VISIT TO THE BEACHES
We wish everyone a fantastic stay and an unforgettable experience, of growth and friendship!
