EDUCATIONAL TRIP IN PRAGUE

From Feb. 10 to 14, 2025, all students in the fifth classes of all majors will take part in the educational trip with destination Prague.

PRAGUE

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and the most important city in Bohemia. It has a strategic location in the center of Europe, is well connected to neighboring nations and is one of the most visited destinations on the continent. Over the centuries it has been given other names, such as The Golden City, The City of a Hundred Towers and The Heart of Europe. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its exceptional historic center, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1992, reflects eleven centuries of history. This city full of precious monuments captivates visitors with its extraordinary architecture, breathtaking views, and intimate, romantic atmosphere that provides inspiration for long walks. Prague is also a city of music and art, gardens and parks.

PURPOSE

- To integrate curricular school activities together with a confrontation with the outside world, regarding socio-cultural, human-relational and landscape-monumental aspects;

- To live a meaningful and personally enriching experience; and

- To gain a greater awareness about one's strengths and limitations

- Making a comparison with the “other” and the “different”-compared to one's own habits

- Getting to know a historical and cultural reality, different from Our Country

- Fostering a critical and observational sense

- To arouse curiosity and interest

- Enhancing a sense of belonging to the class group.
