On 5 DECEMBER 2024, the students of the fourth classes of the Economic-Tourist address will take part in an educational outing from 12.00 noon lasting about two hours at the Museo Diocesano Carlo Maria Martini, located in Piazza Sant'Eustorgio, 3 - Milan to attend the exhibition ‘Botticelli. Adoration of the Magi’.
CONTENTS
The Adoration of the Magi, one of the most fascinating and famous works by Sandro Botticelli (Florence, 1445 - 1510), the painter symbol of the Italian Renaissance, is the Masterpiece for Milan 2024 - an initiative now in its 16th edition that every year allows visitors to admire a priceless work of art from the world's most important museums up close.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To appreciate art as an extraordinary resource for engaging students on different topics; - To foster the ability to combine didactic knowledge, discussed in class during lectures, with a cognitive and metacognitive learning process
- Fostering a critical and observational sense;
- To arouse curiosity and interest;
- Increasing the sense of belonging to the class group;
- Increasing the capacity for relational autonomy outside the school environment
