The Travel Committee of the S. Freud Institute has chosen as the destination for the Language Internship Study Trip for the 2012-2013 school year the city of Dublin, Ireland's lively and hospitable capital, the country's cultural center that has been the birthplace of notable artists and men of letters, as well as home to major museums, theaters and national monuments.
The formula chosen was overnight stay in selected families-double room and full board-and morning attendance at English language classes at the renowned ATC School. The period of the stay was from April 14 to 21, 2013.
About the school
ATC Language & Travel School, associated with Mei Relsa, is recognized by the Irish Ministry of Education and is ISO 9001 quality assurance is also a venue for the TOEIC exam. Located by the sea in Bray, a suburb 10 kilometers south of Dublin with a population of 25,000, it is called the Garden of Ireland and is only 35 minutes by public transportation from downtown Dublin.
The school is also located in a beautiful 1850s Victorian building that has been fully restored and has 22 spacious and bright classrooms equipped with every comfort and a beautiful view of Dublin Bay. It also offers common room, multimedia room with 25 internet stations with free internet access, wifi throughout the school, private garden and outdoor patio and a cafeteria.

"When Sigmund Freud, who moved through the labyrinths of the human psyche like a fish through water, had occasion to visit Dublin he wrote: The Irish are the only people who cannot be psychoanalyzed. They are too prone to fantasy!!!
I can only confirm such words, having visited with the school this capital city. The city oozes with emotions, it is like a breath of fresh air, overlooking the sea, Viking city and at the same time modern, exciting and relaxing at the same time. Dublin is pure atmosphere, which can be felt by talking to people and walking along the Liffey, for example.
Welcoming families, joyful, smiling and happy to welcome us, filled our week with warmth and cheerfulness. So did the college, which, with its entire staff of very qualified teachers, helped us plan our sightseeing by suggesting the most interesting itineraries to discover the city, which is full of monuments, neighborhoods and museums to visit.
The visit to the Guinness Storehouse was memorable: a huge historical-scientific museum of the eponymous beer, to be visited in a full day. Built inside the old brewery, you tour its various floors and levels where you can see how beer is born and how it is brewed and then eventually get to taste it on the top floor in the building's penthouse bar, with breathtaking views of Dublin."
The experience was one of great involvement for the entire participating group as they weaved new friendships and became increasingly cohesive and united once they returned to School.
